Subscribe to BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS) to get your free BlackBerry® email account (e.g. yourname@bell.blackberry.com).
BIS provides access to multiple email accounts and lets you send and receive emails wirelessly. You'll receive your messages on your BlackBerry with access to email attachments and images in popular formats, such as Microsoft® Word, Excel, PowerPoint®, Adobe® PDF and more.

- Click the Email Settings icon on the main screen of your BlackBerry Smartphone. If you're using the BlackBerry Storm or the BlackBerry Pearl Flip, navigate to the Setup icon instead and select the Email Settings option from there.
- Scroll down and select Create New Account and then click Get Link.
- Click Yes to accept the legal terms.
- Create a user ID and password and then click Next.
- Select a Language.
Add existing email addresses and/or create a new BlackBerry address:
- To add your email address for an existing account (ie: Bell Internet), enter your username and password for your existing email account.
- To create a BlackBerry email address (user@bell.blackberry.net), click Next.
- Select Create BlackBerry Email.
- Create a username and password.
- Click Next and then click OK.
- Click Next and then click OK again.
